Last week, a mysterious mustached man walked into Marc Ecko showroom at 40 w. 23rd St. around 6 pm and with ease, removed the KAWS piece from the wall. Then rolled up the artwork, put it into a white tube and walked out with no one saying a word. Reportedly the Untitled (Calvin Klein) poster piece is worth around $100,000? The NYPD has a picture from the surveillance cameras inside the building, but by the looks of that stache its probably a fake. So theres no real good lead on who it might be.
