Gaddafis’ tickets to Olympics
The Games' international committee failed to expel the dictator's regime - which is slaughtering Libyan civilians and under attack by Britain and Nato allies. It means Colonel Gaddafi's son Muhammad, who heads the Libyan Olympic Committee, got a ticket allocation and can sell them on for a 20 per cent mark-up or give them to his family.
Officials insist Gaddafi could not attend the Games because he faces a travel ban.
But last night the UK Borders Agency refused to say if the dictator's regime would be eligible for "Olympic visas", making it easier for officials to travel.
It comes as a million Brits who missed out on tickets will find out next week when they can apply again. Just 800,000 people were successful first time.
