IT may soon be possible to take a train from London to New York - the long way round.
A massive tunnel is being planned under the Bering Strait, which will link northeast Russia to Alaska.The 65-mile tunnel, first proposed by Tsar Nicholas II in 1906, moved one step closer to development today, after the Kremlin gave its blessing.
